Awesome English Translation. A keeper for those seeking enlightenment and to connect with history.
High quality, readable translation of a beautiful book / guru.
I would only ask that the publisher put this into an actual book form if it isn't already.
Over all good. Some minor spelling and grammatical errors.
Translating divinity is never easy. I got this one and another translation just in case. But any book which memorializes the songs of Kabir is high on my list.
I love The Truth, and this book is awesome <3 :)
I just read the first verse in the sample and the translation is not correct.
I WANT TO WRITE A THESAURUS AND DICTIONARY BUT NOT INCLUDE THE WORD ITS REFERING TO. That way, no one can argue that I am wrong unless they had PROOF. But who’s going to TAKE THE TIME to look up the real meaning and accuse me? This is a disgrace! No proof that this author did the correct translation or where to find the words (Paatth) its refering to. Same thing is happening to our religion as the Bible. Christians actually fight and put each other down because they believe their version of the Bible is the real one. THE TRUTH IS, the Bible should have never been authorized to be translated by different AVERAGE NON-HOLY SINING MEN without proof of the words they are refering to- without the original prayer/stories. Jehova’s witnesses, Baptists, Protestants, etc have had conversations with me and most come by my house to spread the word with THEIR OWN translations of the Bible. Seriously, when I asked them about their counterparts, they ACTUALLY HAD THE GUTS to put the other branches down and say OTHER branches’ VERSION of the Bible has been ALTERED and THEIR TRANSLATION OF THE ORIGINAL BIBLE IS THE CORRECT ONE!Isn’t this the same thing happening to our Sikhi? This book should be deleted. It is offensive and incorrect. Unless it is updated with the real Paatth above each line. The way it is SUPPOSED TO BE!
