This was kind of all over the place, and not in a good way. The premise is that Ronnie has a dead angel living inside her head. She spent the entire book fighting this angel and it was, frankly, exhausting. Metatron is a massive jerk and I hated that all the guys loved her and wanted her more than Ronnie. Admittedly, Ronnie was no real catch herself but I did feel sorry for her. I pretty much hated all the characters and the plot was dumb.This isn't really an RH. Two of the guys (at least I think Lucifer is supposed to be part of the harem) are in love with Metatron, not Ronnie. And the third is just sort of a blah character.I won't be reading anymore from this author and I really can't recommend this.
This is such a different and unique take on angels, demons, and mortals. Ronnie (Uriel) is so strong and feisty and she needs all that strength in order to survive her new job, the amnesia, and the voice in her head. And the office politics just might be the death of her. I adored how complex the political climate around Ubiquity was. It was never simple to identify who was friend and who was foe. I was drawn in and couldn’t put the book down, compelled to finish it in a single sitting.I received a complimentary copy of this book.
Allyson Lindt's "Soul Reaper" is the first tale in the Ubiquity series. It's a very interesting mythology with angels and demons and cherubs. The characters are really deep. I love Metatron's demeanor and sarcasm. Michael is a sweet, sexy hunk of angel. I like the lost memory, lies, deception, and intrigue! I can't wait to read #2. #1 isn't quite a cliffhanger, but it leaves a lot of questions to be answered.
Two souls la in one body in love with 3 people. If that's not complicated I don't know what is. Surprisingly the Angel's and demons are working together which is different but welcomed. The only thing I didnt like was how much Ronnie stubbornly argued with Metatron even when she knew she was right. I cant wait to see the see when Lucifer and ronnie get together or when Gab comes back into play. Good read overall
This paranormal urban fantasy novel is very beautifully written. The storyline flows through perfectly. The character's are realistic, flawed, intriguing, compelling, and mysterious. The story provides mystery, humor, romance and secrets. The storyline keeps you captivated and wanting more.
A different spin on angels and demons. Multiple points of view. A few quick steamy scenes, not heavy on the details. Plot has a lot going on.
Loved the story and can't wait for the next book . You should reallyRead this book you won't regret it.
Starting out reading this I was a bit lost, but isn't everyone when they start a new series? This wasn't a bad thing though it just piqued my curiosity and made me hungry to read more. This story is so different from what I am used to reading by Allyson and not what I was expecting. I love it and don't get me wrong, but angels and demons is a far cry from computer and gamer nerds even if they use computers to find their targets.I'm not sure what I like better and I'm also not sure I'd ever like to decide. I can say that this story is awesome. The way she's created everything and the twists in the story plus how she explains the way her version of the world is different from ours is awesome. The detail and the thought she put into each character really shows. I will have to say the conversation's in Ronnie's head are probably my favorite part of the story (I love a good smart ass).
