This book is a great read. My special needs 11 year old son, really enjoyed reading it and he has a better understanding of who Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is. The book is very informative. I just ordered him the Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman and Einstein book. I will be ordering more from this series as well.
Excellent series of books we plan on trying to buy as many of this collection as possible. It is perfect for children readers who are looking to learn about historical people, places or events. It breaks it down in an informative but digestible amount for the young reader.
Very informative and interesting even to the youngest grade-schoolers. This book taught a 1st grader about MLK Jr., and gave him an good understanding about this part of history. I found it very interesting to read as well as an adult. I'd like to get more of these books in the future.
Great way to tell a story to young children to help them better understand the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Good book. Easy to read. Full of information.
I love this series. My son is just staring to read chapter books and these are perfect for his reading level plus they are educational. I even learn something new with each book.
This was apart of our homeschool lesson and was very informative as well as fun for my 8 year old to read to me and gave him a good understanding about who was Martin Luther King Jr. and his life from a young child to an adult. It gave us a hearty discussion on many issues! Definitely a book I would recommend to add to your history lesson!
We had to purchase this book for my daughter's school reading list and I love how it is written and I also very much enjoyed the illustrations.
